Request a whole pig quoteA whole pig takes the full length of a spit, so the dressed weight and mounting requirements determine the roaster you need.
Party Spit Hire has standard, large and extra-large charcoal roasters suited to different whole-pig weights. Tell us the pig weight, whether you are sourcing it yourself and what else you hope to cook.
We publish the equipment hire price for each roaster. Whole-pig supply, delivery, collection and optional cooking are quoted for the actual event rather than charged per person.
The 1 metre roaster supports a whole pig up to 12kg. Hire price: $130 plus a $50 refundable deposit.
The 1.2 metre roaster supports a whole pig up to 20kg. Hire price: $160 plus a $60 refundable deposit.
The 1.5 metre roaster supports a whole pig up to 30kg. Hire price: $175 plus a $70 refundable deposit.
A whole pig generally occupies the full spit. Additional meats or gyros require a second roaster.
If Party Spit Hire supplies the whole pig, it arrives fitted to the spit rod with the required brackets. This removes the job of arranging the mounting with a butcher.
If you are sourcing your own pig, confirm the dressed weight and mounting requirements before booking. Send those details with your quote request so we can recommend a suitable roaster and accessories.
The roaster hire prices are published on the website. A whole-pig order is quoted as a fixed event order based on the supplied pig, equipment, delivery and collection requirements.
On-site cooking and carving can be added if you would rather have Party Spit Hire manage the charcoal, rotation and serving-time plan. The cooking service is also quoted for the event, not per person.
